Insurance Reinstatement Valuation for the New National Children’s Hospital, Dublin 8.

Brendan Merry & Partners were delighted to be engaged by Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) to carry out the Insurance Reinstatement Valuation for the New National Children’s Hospital on the St. James’s Hospital campus.

The magnificent hospital was designed as a modern, child-centred healthcare facility providing specialist paediatric care for children from across Ireland. The seven-storey building was designed by Building Design Partnership (BDP) and O’Connell Mahon Architects, with an emphasis on daylight, colourful interiors, family-friendly spaces, courtyards and landscaped areas.

The hospital, totalling 180,000 square metres, provides 380 individual inpatient bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, together with a modern Emergency Department, 93 day-beds for outpatient care, 22 operating theatres and impressive diagnostic facilities.
