This project provides a new purpose-built stand-alone residential care home in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. The facility comprises 96 ensuite bedrooms, including 18 accessible bedrooms with shared dining and day rooms, café and bar area, kitchens, laundry, staff and support areas in a three-storey building arranged around a secure landscaped courtyard garden on a 0.88-hectare site.

The project is being funded by Aedifica, who continue to expand its healthcare portfolio in Ireland and they have partnered with Grace Healthcare who will be the operator to add to their seven other existing Nursing Homes throughout Ireland.

The project was procured on a design and build basis with Ganson as the main contractor and is scheduled to complete on site within 18 months. The contractor has utilised precast concrete construction for walls, floors, stairs and roof for speed and they have also integrated bathroom pods from Connex Offsite in Newry.
