Brendan Merry & Partners were appointed by The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) as Project Manager/ER and Quantity Surveyor to deliver a high-quality Fit-Out for their new Headquarters in the preferred located on the 7th Floor of the Distillers Building in Smithfield, Dublin 7.

In collaboration with the NCCA, BMP produced a Request for Tender specification for a Design and Build (including CAT A and CAT B construction) for New Office Spaces. The shortlisted contractors tendered for the project in Q2 2024 and works commenced in Q4 2024 and were complete by June 2025.

The works consisted of a 923sq.m. Grade A office fitout with open plan and cellular offices, together with break out spaces, meetings rooms, work space pods, multimedia rooms and canteens. The centrepiece of the works consisted of providing two high quality boardroom and meeting rooms. The boardroom can cater for a meeting of approx. 40 people. The project is LEED Gold Accredited.

The project was successfully managed by Bretland Construction with OC + C Architects.
