Description

The historic courthouse is to be refurbished as an Exhibition and Event space with ancillary spaces to include offices, a café, and all associated site works. It will include the redesign of the internal spaces and external renovations to repurpose the building as a multipurpose arts, performance, remote working and social space. The building has pride of place on the main street of the Town, Clonfert Avenue, it is a very attractive example of a mid-nineteenth century civic building. It has however, due to neglect over the years fallen into a state of disrepair and is desperately in need of redevelopment.
