Works have commenced at the Diageo Baileys Plant located on the Nangor Road. The works comprise the Civil Works associated with a New Tank Farm, Pump House, Fire Suppression and Pipe Bridge to enhance their Processing Facilities. The works are being carefully co-ordinated by Niras Project Managers and Diageo Senior Programme Managers.

The Civil Works have been designed Garland Consulting Engineers which consist of Concrete Bunds to contain processing product including a new Pumphouse and Pipe Bridge connecting product to the main processing facility. The works are being carried out in a Live production facility with strict Health and Safety protocols implemented under the direction of OSS Ltd. who are acting as PSCS for the Construction Stage of the project.

The Main Contractor on the project is Dunwoody & Dobson. The Civil Works element of the Contract is due to be complete at the end of November. Specialist Contractors for the Main Process Plant will be co-ordinated on a phased basis into the works including Process Electrical and Fire Control System Specialists.
