Brendan Merry & Partners were appointed by The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) as Project Manager/ER and Quantity Surveyor to deliver a high quality Fit-Out for their new Headquarters in the preferred located on the 7th Floor of the Distillers Building in Smithfield, Dublin 7.

The scope of services include:

• In collaboration with the NCCA, to produce a Request for Tender specification for a Design and Build (including CAT A and CAT B construction) for New Office Spaces
• To assist NCCA during the Tendering process (i.e. responses to queries and clarifications sought, supporting the pre-bid walk-through)
• To evaluate, in collaboration with the executive of NCCA, tenders received
• To advise on contractual negotiations with the successful provider
• To support NCCA in the monitoring and oversight of the Design and Build project from initiation to completion, in accordance with all regulatory requirements, commissioning and certification processes.

The preferred procurement route is via Design and Build and it is hoped to have the project complete in Q1 of 2025. We are delighted to help the NCCA with this prestigious project and to deliver a project which meets the Clients needs and achieves value for money and completes on time.
