Over the summer, construction was completed on the magnificent new Fire Station for the city of Waterford. The new station has excellent facilities which include drill tower, underground training tunnel and tank and Lecture Rooms. The Centre will also provide a base for the local Civil Defence volunteers.

The Fire Station was designed by McCullough Mulvin Architects and constructed by Duggan Brothers from Templemore, Co. Tipperary. Brendan Merry &Partners have been involved with the project since 2007 and following a long hiatus, we were delighted when the project commenced on site back in September 2013. The construction process has been extremely challenging for all involved.

We wish Chief Fire Officer Niall Curtin and his fellow fire fighters our very best wishes with their new facility.
